About Kukke Shree Subramanya

Kukke shree subramanya temple is located in the village of subramanya, situated in the sullia taluk, dakshina Karnataka. The main deity , Karthikeya is worshipped as subramanya, the lord of all serpents. Overlooking the temple is the beautiful kumara parvatha, along with the shesha parvatha which forms a picture perfect background for the temple. The village is surrounded by dense forests, mountains and many rivers. The temple faces the east and the main entrance is present at the back of the Sanctum. Between the Sanctum and the entrance is the Silver Plated Garuda Kamba. Beyond this, there are two halls, the inner one leading to the sanctum. On the pedestal, there is the idol of Lord Subramanya with Vasuki. A little lower, there is the idol of Lord Sesha.
